How does the contest work? It's easy!
Enter your pet in Citrus County Chronicle’s Pet Photo Contest and WIN The chance to have your pet featured on the cover of the Chronicle’s Pet Guide and serious bragging rights!
Entries accepted: May 8, 2012 – May 21, 2012
Voting begins: May 22, 2012
Voting ends: June 6, 2012
- Snap a photo of your cute cat, dog, or other pet
(only one pet per photo / entry, please!)
- Upload your photo on the "Enter Now" tab above.
- Spread the word to your family and friends.
Don't forget Facebook and Twitter!
- Vote for your favorites!
- The pet with the most votes at the end of the contest wins and will be featured on the cover of the Pet Guide

- Photo is guaranteed to appear in the publication as a 4” x 3” space
Who does the contest benefit? A portion of the proceeds will be benefit the Friends of Citrus County Animal Services (FOCCAS). FOCCAS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization formed in 2010 to assist Citrus County Animal Shelter in placing dogs and cats into permanent, loving homes and provide for medical care beyond the scope of shelter medicine. FOCCAS is dedicated to giving second chances to animals that otherwise may have no hope at all. This is reflected in the group's commitment to helping the animals that need it most.
Are there prizes? YES! One Grand Prize winner will receive the front cover photo of their pet on the 2012 edition of the Citrus County Chronicle’s Pet Guide.
Three runners-up will receive pawsome prize packs of pet goodies each!

Households with more than one pet may submit multiple entries!
Only pets from Citrus County may enter.
One vote per day per registered user.
